SCHRADE CUT CO Bowtie Butter & Molasses automatic knife

Vintage Schrade Cut Co G1514K Bowtie Brown lined cream automatic knife made between 1916 and 1946 by the Schrade Cutlery Co of Walden, NY. It measures 4 inches closed and 7 1/8 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The carbon steel clip blade is 96% full or better with some light patina, light scratches and a little light pitting and is marked SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the front tang and US PATS Dec 21, 09, Sept 13, 10 and June 6, 16 on the rear. The Butter & Molasses (brown lined cream) celluloid scales are very attractive and in very nice condition. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep & centered closed, good snap and locks open with about 1/16" up and down at the tip. Safety works. VG+ condition.
