Antique Schrade Cut Co medium double, pattern number 7403 that was made by the Schrade Cutlery Co of Walden, NY most likely between 1907 and 1910. The knife measures 3 3/8" closed and 6 7/8" open with brass liners and nickel silver buttons & safeties. Spear/pen blade combination with both blades 96% or better and shiny with scratches and scattered light pitting, especially on the tangs. The main blade is stamped Schrade Cut Co Walden, NY and the small pen blade is marked US PATS FEB 13, 06, FEB 26, 07. Picked bone scales (handles) are in very good condition. Knife works well with both blade tips below the liners closed, both blades open strong and very good lockup and very little kickback. Does not rattle if shaken with blades open. Both safeties work. VG+ condition.
