z Schrade Cut Co 1554 3/4 Scout Vintage black jigged automatic knife

Schrade Cut Co 1554 3/4 Scout Vintage black jigged automatic knife was made in Walden, NY between 1916 and 1946, most likely 1942 or later. It measures 4 1/4" closed and 7 3/8 inches open with steel liners, bolsters, button and nickel silver safety. The blade is full with light patina and a little spotting, but overall very nice blade and is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the front and US PATS DEC 21, 09, SEPT 13, 10 and JUNE 6, 16 on the rear tang. The black jigged synthetic scales are in excellent condition and are held on by steel pins. The knife works great with blade tip seating below liners closed, strong snap and tight lockup open. Safety works. EX+ condition.
