SCHRADE CUT CO 1543 3/4 Hunter Switchblade Knife Etched BW STEEL CO

Antique SCHRADE CUT CO 1543 3/4 Hunter Switchblade Knife Etched BW STEEL CO. This knife was made in Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946 and measures 4 7/8 inches closed and 8 3/4 inches open with steel liners & bolsters and nickel silver button & safety. The clip blade is 99% full with much of the original finish with some scratches and spotting under a light patina and the face of the blade is clearly etched BW (in a triangle) STEEL CO. The tang is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY and the backside is stamped US PATS DEC 21, 09, SEPT 13, 10 & June 6, 16. Very nice blade overall. The peachseed pattern dyed jigged bone scales are beautiful and in excellent condition. The knife works great with blade tip deep and centered in the well, strong snap and TIGHT lockup open. Very tight! Safety works. EX+ condition.
