Schrade Cut Co 1514M Fishtail Marine Pearl vintage automatic knife

Schrade Cut Co 1514M Fishtail Marine Pearl automatic knife made between 1916 and 1946 by the Schrade Cutlery Co of Walden, NY. It measures 4 inches closed and 7.25 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The carbon steel clip blade is 99% full with most of the original finish with a couple of tiny pepper spots and is marked SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the front tang and US PATS Dec 21, 09, Sept 13, 10 and June 6, 16. The Marine Pearl celluloid scales are beautiful with the usual tiny hairline cracks by the top pins. The knife works well with the blade tip deep & centered closed, good snap and locks open with less than 1/16" up and down at the tip. Spring has been replaced at some point. Does not rattle if shaken open. Safety works. EX condition.
