Scarperia Custom 30cm Hand Made Shell puller Fulcrum Brass & horn automatic knife

Scarperia Inspired Custom 30cm Fulcrum Brass & horn automatic knife hand made by second generation knife maker Orang Zaib. This knife was inspired by switchblade knives made in Scarperia Italy in the 1940s and 50s by Tonerini. The original Italian knives are very hard to find and they usually sell for $2000-3000 or more when they do show up. This knife was inspired by those Rare vintage Italian knives and gives collectors a chance to experience what those wonderful old knives looked and felt like. The button is a little higher than the original and these are made without a sliding safety, but otherwise this knife is very true to the size, feel and function of the original knives!

The knife measures 29.9cm (11.75 inches) open and 6.5 inches closed not including the shell pullers or the lanyard loop at the bottom (back) of the knife. It has brass liners, bolsters, fulcrum & pins with steel button. The bayonet style blade is 100% full with original finish and is marked Orang Zaib below the spine near the ricasso. The scales (handles) are genuine horn and are mostly black with just a little cream streaking and in excellent condition. The knife works Great with the blade tip deep & centered closed, nice smooth snap and excellent lockup with less than 1/16" movement at the tip open. As new condition and comes in hand made leather sheath.
