S.C.O.F. FRANCE INOX BREVETE S.D.G.D. 24cm P.V. 616.726 French Automatic Knife

Vintage S.C.O.F. FRANCE INOX BREVETE S.D.G.D. 24cm P.V. 616.726 French Automatic Knife with Faux Stag scales. The knife measures 24.1cm (9.5 inches) open with Aluminum liners & bolsters and steel release lever and lanyard ring. The flat grind blade appears to be mostly full with patina & scratches and is marked S.C.O.F. FRANCE INOX with a star  on the face of the blade. The faux stag (plastic imitation stag) scales are in good condition with a little shrinkage and a few little hairline cracks, not by pins. The release lever along the back spring is marked BREVETE S.D.G.D. over P.V. 616.726. The knife works as intended, though the release is a bit awkward and likely takes some practice to make it work better. I can see why this one is a bit rare, probably not a lot of happy customers. The blade tip is just above the liners closed, opens fully and locks up Tight. Lift lever to open and lift lever to release the blade to be closed. Seems to require two hands. VG+ condition.
