This is a very nice Russian Prison Knife (RPK) switchblade made in a Russian prison sometime between 1960 and 1980s. The knife measures just under 24cm (9.25 inches) open with brass liners and bolster plates. The slender curves handle feels very good in the hand. The knife is sterile, no markings. This is a Gorgeous automatic knife that fits the hand wonderfully and is very solid! The blade appears to be full with interesting shape and notched spine saw. The handle has the look of horn, but pretty sure it's synthetic. The knife works great with the blade tip seating very deep closed, Super strong snap and tight lockup with very little movement The blade is coilspring fired when you push the button and it really works smoothly. This knife is very good quality and a Gorgeous piece of Russian Folk Art cutlery!
