Russian 23cm Bolster Release Black Aluminum Automatic knife

Beautiful old Russian Bolster release switchblade knife. These were showing up in the United States around 2005 and I was told that they were put together from parts found in Russia. I remember some paperwork on origin came with some of the ones I saw for sale. Whatever the story, these are beautiful knives and they work very well. It measures just over 23cm (9 1/8") open with aluminum liners & scales and steel backspring. The handles (scales) are both one piece aluminum with fancy bolster designs and thin black plastic inserts. The knife works great with blade tip seating Deep when closed, strong snap and tight lockup! The blade is released to open and close by pressing on the edge of the front scale near the front of the knife. EX+ condition.
