RPK Russian Prison Knife Vintage Manual folder lockback knife. These knives were made by inmates of Russian prisons back in the 1960s and 70s to be sold to raise capital for the prisons. They are all hand made and very unique and beautiful pieces of Russian cutlery Folk Art. This knife measures just over 21cm (8.25 inches) open with a steel frame. The blade is full and has all of the original finish and engraving. Brown synthetic scales are in very nice condition. The knife works well with some good backspring action and locks open with some movement each way. Does rattle a bit if shaken when open. Very cool vintage Russian RPK manual folder.
