RPK 26cm Russian Swing Guard Gunstock Vintage automatic knife

RPK 26cm Russian Swing Guard Gunstock Vintage automatic knife most likely from the 1960s or 70s that measures 26cm (10.25 inches) open with aluminum bolsters, nickel silver guards and steel button. Made in USSR prisons between 1940s and 1970s to be sold, traded, given as gifts/bribes by prison officials. The Saber grind clip blade appears to be full with elaborate hand engraving on the backside that includes a Skull & Crossbones. The front has words that appear to be "Gedem das Sein", which I wasn't able to translate for sure, but might be something like "To each his own".  The aluminum bolsters are also decorative with custom shaping and hand engraving. The scales appear to be some sort of brown synthetic that resemble a gunstock or grip. The knife works great with blade tip deep in the well closed, strong snap and typical lockup for an RPK like this where the tip moves a bit, but springs back when released. This is an exceptionally Cool RPK in EX+ condition.
