RPK 21cm Vintage Russian Prison Knife Beautiful scales switchblade

RPK Russian Prison Knife Vintage Fisherman's switchblade knife. These knives were made by inmates of Russian prisons back in the 1960s and 70s to be sold to raise capital for the prisons. They are all hand made and very unique and beautiful pieces of Russian cutlery Folk Art. This knife measures 21cm (8 1/8 inches) open with an aluminum frame. The straight back saber grind blade is full and has all of the original finish with no markings and some light scratches. The scales are Beautiful with silver/green design under clear acrylic and are in great condition. The knife works well with the blade tip seating even with the scales and extending slightly past the end of the well when closed, smooth Strong snap and tight lockup when open. It is button open, button close with something red and sparkly in the end of the brass cylindrical button. Very cool vintage Russian RPK switchblade. Pictures don't do this knife justice. Really gorgeous scales.
