Vintage 21cm RPK Russian Prison Knife switchblade knife. These knives were made by inmates of Russian prisons back in the 1960s and 70s to be sold or given as gifts or bribes. They are all hand made and very unique and beautiful pieces of Russian cutlery Folk Art. This knife measures 21cm (8.25 inches) open with a stainless steel frame and button with non magnetic cover plates held on with screws. The straight back saber grind blade is nearly full and has some light scratches and no markings. The scales are dark wood and in good condition. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep in the well when closed, smooth strong snap and decent lockup when open with some up and down at the tip that springs back when you let go. The blade is activated by sliding the button and is closed the same way. EX condition.
