RPK 19cm Russian Prison Knife Pink & green translucent handled automatic knife

RPK Russian Prison Knife Vintage switchblade knife. It is believed that these knives were made by inmates of Russian prisons back in the 1950s through the 1970s to be sold to raise capital for the prisons and given by prison personnel as bribes and gifts. They are all hand made and very unique and beautiful pieces of Russian cutlery Folk Art. This knife measures 19cm (7.5 inches) open with aluminum frame and sliding button. The saber hollow grind blade appears to be full with the original finish with no markings. The green & pink scales have clear acrylic over the pink areas and are attractive and in good condition. The knife works well with the blade tip seating good closed, smooth strong snap, tight lockup. It is sliding button open, button close. EX+ condition.
