z RPK 17cm Russian Prison Shoe automatic knife w/ pouch

RPK 17cm Russian Prison Shoe automatic knife w/ pouch. Made by inmates in USSR prisons sometime between 1940s and 1970s to be sold/traded/gifted by guards and staff. This knife measures 17cm (6 5/8 inches) open with steel liners and is shaped like a fancy shoe. The blade appears to be nearly full with patina and scratches. The scales are hand painted red/black/white shoe covered in clear acrylic held on with screws. The knife works well with blade tip just above liners closed, good snap and good lockup with just a little movement each way at the tip. Sheath seems to be made of shoe leather with some markings inside. VG+ condition.
