Vintage 14cm Russian RPK (Russian Prison Knife) switchblade keychain knife. These knives were made by inmates of Russian prisons back in the 1960s and 70s to be sold/traded, usually by guards or prison officials. They were all hand made and very unique and beautiful pieces of Russian cutlery Folk Art. This knife measures 13.5cm (5 1/4 inches) open with aluminum frame. Blade is nearly full and shiny with no markings and light scratches. The Aluminum frame has zipper pattern around the edges and is in very good condition with some light wear with built in bottle opener notch. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep in the well when closed, smooth snap and tight lockup when open. Has a hole on the end to attach a ring for keychain. Very cool vintage Russian RPK mini. EX condition.
