Vintage Russian RPK (Russian Prison Knife) switchblade keychain knife. These knives were made by inmates of Russian prisons back in the 1960s and 70s to be sold to raise capital for the prisons. They were all hand made and very unique and beautiful pieces of Russian cutlery Folk Art. This knife measures 11.5cm (4.5 inches) open with aluminum frame & 100% full carbon steel blade with no markings. Frame has zipper pattern around the edges and in very good condition with some light wear. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep in the well when closed, smooth snap and tight lockup when open. Has a hole on the end to attach a ring for keychain. Very cool vintage Russian RPK mini. VG condition.
