Rostfrei (slant) PATENT 27cm Italian BoBc vintage 1960s automatic knife

Vintage Rostfrei PATENT 27cm Italian Stiletto BOBC automatic knife most likely made in the 1960s or 70s in Italy. It measures 27cm (10 5/8 inches) open and 5 15/16 inches closed with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The flat grind swedge spear point blade is 97% full, or better with most of the original finish intact with light scratches. The ricasso (tang) is marked Rostfrei (diagonally/Slant) and the reverse side is stamped PATENT. The horn scales are mostly black with white & cream streaking and in good condition with a couple of mostly filled bug bites on the back scale. The knife works well with the blade tip even with the liners closed, strong snap and very good lockup with less than 1/16" down at the tip and some side to side. Barely rattles if shaken with the blade open. Spring peeks out of the well when closed as many do. Short throw safety works. VG+ condition.
