Rostfrei (slant) 33cm Italian Late Transitional Stiletto switchblade knife

Vintage 33cm Italian Rostfrei transitional stiletto switchblade knife. The knife measures 33.7cm (13 1/8 inches) open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. This knife has most of the characteristics of a transitional knife except the liners aren't D stamped, so probably made in the early 1970s. The flat grind blade is full with original factory finish and a few light scratches and is marked Rostfrei in script diagonally (slant) on the ricasso. The buffalo horn scales (handles) are black and in excellent condition with some light handling marks. The knife works well with the blade tip seating Deep in the well closed, good snap and good lockup with just a bit of up and down at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken open. Beautiful old Italian late transitional stiletto automatic knife.  Safety works. EX condition.
