Rostfrei (slant) 14cm Italian Humpback Stiletto 1960s automatic knife

Vintage Rostfrei (slant) 14cm Italian Humpback Stiletto automatic knife made in Italy in the 1960s. These humpback (lockback) release automatic knives are not very common, especially when the hump is near the bottom/back like Italian manual stilettos. Most automatic humpbacks have the hump (release) more in the middle of the backspring. This knife measures 13.8cm (5 3/8 inches) open and just over 3 inches closed with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The flat swedge blade is 96% full or better and shiny with some light scratches and the ricasso is stamped Rostfrei diagonally (slant). The genuine horn scales (handles) are dark and in good condition with some signs of drying on the back scale. The knife works well with blade tip a hair above the liners closed, good snap and excellent lockup open with just a hint of movement at the tip. No rattle if shaken with blade open. Short throw safety works VG+ condition.
