Rostfrei Elephant 18 inch (45cm) Italian Stiletto Stag & Brass automatic knife

Vintage Rostfrei Elephant 18 inch (45cm) Italian Stiletto Stag & Brass automatic knife made in Italy most likely in the 1970s.  This is one HEFTY knife weighing in at 1 1/4 pounds! The knife measures 44.3cm (17 3/8 inches) open and 9.25 inches closed with D stamped brass liners, bolsters, button, safety and center bands. The flat grind swedge blade is 100% full with original matte finish and the outline of an Elephant on the face of the blade. The Gnarly Stag scales (handles) are nearly 1/2 inch thick in places and in great condition and the 4 slabs are separated by 3/8" thick brass bands. The knife works great with blade tip well below the liners closed, good snap and excellent lockup open with just a hint of movement at the tip open. Safety works. EX+ condition.
