ROSTFREI 33cm Italian Vintage 1980s Pearlex Stiletto automatic knife

Vintage 33cm Italian ROSTFREI Pearlex swivel bolster stiletto switchblade knife made in the late 1970s or 1980s in Italy. The knife measures 33.3cm (13 1/8 inches) open with brass liners and steel bolsters & button w nickel silver safety cap. The flat grind blade is full with original factory finish and a few light scratches and is marked ROSTFREI on the ricasso. The attractive Pearlex scales (handles) are in excellent condition with lots of luster. The backspring is 3mm thick with patina, spotting and some active rust and there are gaps between the backspring and liners on both sides. The spring is a little rusty too. The knife works well with the blade tip seating Deep and centered, strong snap and good lockup with less than 1/16" movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. VG condition.
