Vintage 33cm Italian Rostfrei transitional stiletto switchblade knife most likely made in the 1960s. The knife measures 13 1/8 inches open with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The flat grind swedge blade is nearly full with original factory finish and a few light scratches and is marked Rostfrei in script on the ricasso. The attractive horn scales (handles) are in excellent condition and range in color from black to cream. The knife works well with the blade tip below liners, good snap and really good lockup. 4mm thick back spring that is narrower on front half for some reason with a little light rust, which leaves small gaps between back spring and liners. Not bad and looks original. Nice old 13 inch Italian transitional stiletto automatic knife. Safety works. VG+ condition.
