Rostfrei (slant) 33cm Italian Late Transitional Stiletto switchblade knife

Vintage 33cm Italian Rostfrei transitional stiletto switchblade knife. The knife measures 13 1/8 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. This knife has most of the characteristics of a transitional knife except the liners aren't D stamped, so probably made in the early 1970s. The flat grind swedge blade is full with original factory finish and a few light scratches and is marked Rostfrei in script diagonally (slant) on the ricasso. The attractive horn scales (handles) are in excellent condition and range in color from black to green to cream. The knife works well with the blade tip seating Deep and centered, good snap and great lockup. Safety works. 4mm backspring with a little light rust. Beautiful old Italian late transitional stiletto automatic knife. EX condition.
