ROSTFREI 28cm Italian Transitional Skull Safety Vintage automatic knife most likely made in the 1970s and customized with a metal skull attached to the sliding safety. The knife measures 27.5cm (10.75 inches) open and just under 6 inches closed with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters & button. The flat grind blade is 99% full, or better with most of the original factory finish with light scratches & sharpening marks and the ricasso is stamped ROSTFREI. The black scales are in good condition with a couple of gouges in the front scale and some handling marks and the safety cap was replaced with a silver skull. This is a swivel bolster knife so you push down on the front right finger guard to swivel the bolster and release the blade to be closed. Safety works. VG+ condition.
