ROSTFREI 16cm Italian Stag stiletto Oreste Dibon swivel bolster automatic knife

Vintage ROSTFREI 16cm Italian stiletto automatic knife made by Oreste Dibon, master Italian cutler with the same quality construction as the Italian transitional knives of the 1960s. It measures 15.7cm (6 3/16 inches) open with D Stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters & button and steel safety cap. The saber grind blade is 97% full with original finish intact and is stamped ROSTFREI on the ricasso (tang) with a little loss from sharpening. The genuine stag scales are very nice and like new condition with the front scale being mostly dark gray and the rear brown which is unusual. The knife works well with the blade tip deep just above the liners closed, strong snap and very good lockup open with just a bit movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Swivel bolster so you push down on the right front finger guard to swivel the bolster to release the blade to be closed. Safety works. EX condition.
