ROMO ITALY 23cm Italian Picklock 1950s vintage Bayonet Horn automatic knife

Vintage ROMO ITALY 23cm Italian picklock from the 1950s measures 22.7cm (8 15/16 inches) open and 4 7/8 inches closed with brass D stamped liners & nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The name picklock refers to how the knife is closed. You pick (lift) the locking tab with your thumbnail to release the blade to be closed. The bayonet style blade is 99% full or better with the original finish under a dark patina from age and the ricasso is stamped ROMO ITALY (with an arrow through ROMO). The genuine horn scales are mostly black with yellow & cream and are in excellent condition. The blade tip sits deep & centered closed, strong snap and excellent lockup open. No rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. EX condition.
