ROMANELLI IMPORT & EXPORT CO MADE IN ITALY 18cm Italian Picklock switchblade knife

Vintage ROMANELLI IMPORT & EXPORT CO MADE IN ITALY 18cm Italian Picklock switchblade knife in wooden display box with sliding glass front. This 1950s picklock measures 17.7cm (7 inches) open with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The bayonet style blade is nearly full at about 97% and has most of the original factory finish with some light scratches. The ricasso (tang) is stamped ROMANELLI IMPORT & EXPORT CO MADE IN ITALY, hard to find marking. The buffalo horn scales (handles) are mostly black and in very good condition with a couple of small fill spots and a little tan streaking. Knife functions well with blade tip even with the liners when closed, good snap and good lockup open. As it says on the label in the display this knife was professionally repaired by Bill DeShivs of Collierville, TN in June of 2022. The display box measures approximately 6x6x1 and the top slides to the left to access the knife. Safety works. VG+ condition
