Vintage RIZZUTO STAINLESS STEEL 9 inch RARE Black black knuckle fixed guard automatic knife with finger grooves made in Japan in the 1960s and 70s. This is one of the rarer Rizzuto knives with fixed finger guards and is sometimes called a knuckle knife, though it's probably not what you think of when someone says knuckle knife. It measures 22.1cm (8 3/4 inches) open with steel liners and bolsters and brass plated button & safety and brass pins with nickel silver decorative lanyard ring. The bayonet style blade is 98% full with lots of scratches and muchfactory finish and is stamped STAINLESS STEEL on the tang and has a slight bend at the tip. Most of these were also stamped RIZZUTO ESTILETO MILANO below the spine on the front of the blade, but this one is not. The black plastic scales are in nice condition with a little shrinkage. The front bottom bolster sometimes slides/pivots because of room created by the scale shrinkage. The knife works well with blade tip below the bolster tip, but not deep, strong snap and good lockup with about 1/8" up and down at the tip that springs back when you let go. Blade does not rattle if shaken open. Safety works. EX- condition.
