RING CUTLERY B SVOBODA JAPAN 28cm Japanese Vintage Picklock NOS 2020 Mexico find manual knife. This knife was among nearly 400 New Old Stock knives that were found in a warehouse in Mexico in 2020 and had been sitting on a shelf there for over 60 years! Most were switchblade knives made in Japan and Italy with a few manual knives as well. Most likely the inventory of a wholesaler in the 1950s. This knife measures 27.5cm (10 13/16 inches) open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters with some residue on them from storage. The bayonet style blade is 100% full with all of the original factory finish from the late 1950s. Unfortunately the front scale has cracked over time, but otherwise the white synthetic scales are very nice. The knife walks and talks and works just as it should with picklock release to close. New Old Stock condition. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity to prove that it is part of the 2020 Mexico find!
