Renzo Pascotto DANUVIUS #1 40cm Italian Maltese Guard Picklock Shield button switchblade

Renzo Pascotto #1 DANUVIUS 40cm Italian Maltese Guard Picklock Shield button switchblade made in Maniago Italy around 2010 by Renzo Pascotto. This monster measures 39.8cm (15 11/16 inches) open and 8 5/8 inches closed with steel liners and nickel silver bolsters and flush shield button and weighs in at nearly a pound! The bayonet style blade is 100% full with all of the original finish with just a few light scratches from opening/closing and the ricasso is stamped #1 DANUVIUS and stamped on the face along the spine For My Friend Gus. The scales (handles) are genuine horn and are a Fiery Brown & Cream swirl and are really Outstanding! The knife works great with the blade tip deep & centered closed, strong snap and TIGHT lockup open. There are some age spots on the bolsters that I'm sure would clean off, otherwise EX+ condition. We don't know for sure, but it looks like this might have been the very FIRST Danuvius that Renzo made with the #1 stamp on the ricasso, maybe a prototype? Definitely COOL and One of a kind!
