Remington R8065 double switchblade made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT between 1938 and 1944. The knife measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 7 inches with both blades open and has brass liners and copper beryllium spring. It is stamped Remington on the front tang of both blades and both rear tangs are blank. Normally the rear tang of the big blade would be stamped R8065, but I don't think this one was ever stamped. Both blades are nearly full and shiny with some light scratches. The scales are Onyx & black celluloid and were marketed as Black & White Pyralin (word used for celluloid by Remington). The knife works great with small blade tip below liners and big blade tip just above the liners, good snap and average lockup. Does not rattle if shaken with blades open.
