Vintage Remington R17 pull ball switchblade made by the George Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1937 and 1944. The knife measures 2 7/8" closed and 5 inches open including the release ball which is an "8 ball". The blade is full and retains original factory finish. It's stamped Remington PAT 11-9-37 on the front and R17 on the rear of the tang. The Onyx colored scales are in very nice condition with a little bit of shrinkage and has advertising: HI-SPEED GAS 1940-Greetings-1941 HAROLD E PEER. The knife works perfectly! Nice old Remington switchblade from the late 1930s, or early 40s. EX+ condition.
