Remington R8065 double switchblade made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT most likely between 1938 and 1944. The knife measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 7 1/8 inches with both blades open and has brass liners and copper beryllium spring. It is stamped Remington on the front tang of the big blade and R8065 on the rear. Small blade is also stamped Remington on the front, back blank. This is a very nice Remington double that still has most of the Remington Master Knife etch on the front of the big blade! The scales are celluloid and were marketed as Black & White Pyralin (word used for celluloid by Remington). The knife works great with both blades seating with tips even, or below the liners, good snap and good lockup. Both safeties work. Great addition to any knife collection! 100% money back guarantee if you're not satisfied, including return shipping!
