RC KRUSCHKE DULUTH MINN 23cm German Lift Tab Stag Antique automatic knife

RC KRUSCHKE DULUTH MINN 23cm German Lift Tab Stag Antique automatic knife made in Germany around 1900 by Robert Klaas Co. The knife measures 23.2cm (9 1/8 inches) open and 5 1/8 inches closed including the lanyard hole at the back (bottom) of the knife. The knife has brass liners and nickel silver bolsters and lift tab. The saber grind clip blade is 94% full, or better with light scratches, spotting and a little pitting and tang is stamped RC KRUSCHKE DULUTH MINN. It was likely originally etched The NORTHWESTERN on the face of the blade. The genuine stag handles (scales) are in excellent condition with no cracks. To open you lift the tab above the finger guards with your thumb and same to close. The knife works well with blade tip deep & centered closed, opens fully, but spring is a little weak and locks open with about 1/8" movement each way at the tip. Rattles if shaken with blade open as most of these 100+ year old tab release knives do. VG+ condition.
