Vintage RAPID SZL ROSTFREI 25cm Italian Knob open manual Pearlex knife made in Italy post 1960 and imported into Germany by SOLINGEN ZWILLINGSWERK LINDER Co. The knife measures 24.8cm (9.75 inches) open and 5 5/16 inches closed with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters. The clip blade is 100% full with original finish with 2 small pitted areas along the cutting edge and the ricasso stamped SZL ROSTFREI on the front and PATENT on the reverse. The handles (scales) are very attractive Pearlex (imitation pearl) and in excellent condition. The knife works fine with blade opening by flipping the half of the knob on the front side of the knife. Takes some practice, but cool design. This knife is not spring activated, or spring assisted. Just a nice manual knife. The blade does not lock open, by design, but stays open with some pressure from the back spring. EX condition. (This is for ONE knife. Picture of 3 is just to show the different sizes.)
