QUEEN JET 25 Candystripe 1950s Vintage Automatic knife Titusville, PA

Vintage Queen Jet 25 Toothpick with Candystripe celluloid (re-scaled) switchblade knife measures 5 inches closed and 8 3/4 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters. The clip blade is 98% full or better with much of the original factory finish with some spotting and light scratches and the tang is stamped with a Q and a Crown on the front and PAT over PENDING on the backside. The scales (handles) are not original, but have been professionally replace with beautiful candystripe celluloid. The knife works well with blade tip seating deep in the well closed, opens strong and stays open as it should with pressure from the back spring (slip joint style). The only thing is that you have to press the button to finish closing and sometimes you need to push up a bit on the bottom end of the button cam (from backside of the knife) to get final closure and for the blade tip to seat all the way. Not hard to do and will probably get better over time. Closes normally most of the time. EX condition.
