Queen Conversion Candystripe Toothpick Vintage switchblade knife

Queen Conversion Candystripe Toothpick Vintage switchblade knife. This is a converted knife with a Queen blade, but not Queen frame & scales. Not sure who the original maker was. It has been converted to look and function like a Queen Jet 25 switchblade from the late 1940s/50s. It measures 5 inches closed and just under 9 inches open with brass liners and steel bolsters & button. Original Queen Jet 25 blade is full with original finish and some light scratches. The Candystrip celluloid scales are beautiful and in very nice condition. The knife works well with blade tip below liners closed, good snap and stays open as it should. These knives did not lock open by design. They are slip joint knives where pressure from the backspring against the base of the blade holds it open and can be closed without pressing the button. Works just like an original Queen Jet 25. EX condition.
