PRESTO Scout Brain Wormgroove model 1000 Vintage 1940s automatic knife

Vintage PRESTO Scout Black Wormgroove model 1000 1940s automatic knife measures 4 1/8 inches closed and 6 7/8 inches open with steel liners, bolsters and safety with nickel silver button. The clip blade is 94% full and has been lightly cleaned with light scratches and a little peppering and the tang is stamped PRESTO MADE IN USA front and GEO SCHRADE BRIDGEPORT, CT on the rear. The scales (handles) are Wormgroove synthetic scales with swirled colors, often referred to as "brain" and are in very good condition. The knife works great with blade tip deep and centered in the well closed, good snap and tight lockup with barely any movement at the tip. Does Not rattle if shaken with blade open. Very nice knife. Safety works. VG condition.
