PRESTO Scout Black Wormgroove model 1000 Vintage 1940s automatic knife

PRESTO Scout Black Wormgroove model 1000 vintage 1940s automatic knife for the civilian market measures 4 1/8 inches closed and 7 1/8 inches open with brass liners and steel bolsters, button and safety. The clip blade is 99% full with nearly all of the original factory finish intact and the tang is stamped PRESTO PAT JAN 30-40 MADE IN USA front and GEO SCHRADE KNIFE CO INC BPT CONN on the rear. Black Wormgroove synthetic scales are in excellent condition. The knife works great with blade tip deep and centered in the well closed, good snap and tight lockup with barely any movement at the tip. Does Not rattle if shaken with blade open. Very nice knife. Safety works. EX+ condition.
