PRESTO Pattern #1000 Scout Jigged Bone Vintage switchblade knife

PRESTO Scout Jigged Bone Vintage switchblade knife. This is the smaller of the two large single blade Presto switchblades measuring 4 1/8 inches closed. They sometimes referred to this model as the "Scout". The larger one that measures 5 inches closed is the "Hunter". The knife measures 4 1/8 inches closed and 7 1/8 inches open and it has steel liners, bolsters, button & safety. The blade is 99% full and shiny with some light scratches and is marked PRESTO MADE IN USA on the front tang & GEO SCHRADE BRIDGEPORT CONN. The jigged bone scales are in excellent condition with a hairline crack through top back pin. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep and centered closed, good snap and good lockup with about 1/8" up and down at the tip and a little side to side. Does rattle if shaken with the blade open. Safety works. EX- condition.
