Presto Paratrooper style Hunter Black Metal switchblade with lanyard
Presto Paratrooper style Hunter Black Metal switchblade with lanyard
Vintage Presto hunter switchblade with painted black metal handles made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1929 and 1955. It's the largest model that they offered measuring 5 inches closed and 8.25 inches open with steel liners. The blade is around 90% full and .5 inches short with light scratches. The tang is stamped PRESTO MADE IN USA and the backside is marked GEO SCHRADE BRIDGEPORT CONN. The painted metal scales are in vert good condition with most of the original paint intact. The knife functions well with the blade below the liners closed, opens fully every time and average lockup with about 3/16" up and down at the tip. Knife does rattle if shaken with blade open, as most of these 70+ year old used switchblades do. Nice old hunter switchblade made in America. 100% money back guarantee including return shipping if not as described. Safety works. VG condition.
