Presto paratrooper style All metal handle black vintage switchblade knife USA

Presto paratrooper style All metal handle black vintage switchblade knife made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1929 and 1956. It is the same size and configuration as the M2 paratrooper switchblades used during WWII. It is possible that some of these with metal handles were actually issued during the war, but I haven't found proof of that. The knife measures 4 1/8" closed and 6 3/4" open with steel liners, bolsters, button & safety. The clip blade is about 90% full and shiny with light scratches and the tang is stamped PRESTO over MADE IN USA on the front and GEO SCHRADE over BRIDGEPORT, over CONN on the rear. The painted metal scales are in excellent condition and are missing some paint from use/carry and likely were repainted at some point. The knife works great with blade tip centered & below the liners closed, strong snap and good lockup with less than 1/8" movement at the tip. Rattles lightly if shaken with blade open. Safety works as designed. Good condition.
