Presto Large Hunter Brain wormgroove switchblade

Presto Hunter switchblade with wormgroove brain colored scales. Made by the George Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1940 and 1956. This knife measures 5 inches closed and 8.75 inches open with steel liners. It was designated the model 2000 and was the largest switchblade made by the company. This one is in EX- condition with a full blade with original factory finish hiding under patina. Looks worse than it is in the photos. The scales are commonly referred to as wormgroove brain (colored) and are in excellent condition. This knife has seen very little use over the years and functions perfectly with the blade tip seating deep and locking up TIGHT! Like new. Great old knife that could be cleaned to look like new, but the patina and age are pretty awesome!
