Presto MADE IN USA Vintage Paratrooper style Hunter Metal switchblade w lanyard ring

Presto MADE IN USA Vintage Paratrooper style Hunter Metal switchblade w lanyard ring & painted black metal handles made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1929 and 1955. It's the largest model that they offered measuring 5 inches closed and 8 5/8 inches open with steel liners, button & safety. The blade is 96% full or better and shiny with light scratches from sharpening/use and the tang is stamped PRESTO MADE IN USA and the backside is marked GEO SCHRADE BRIDGEPORT CONN. The painted metal scales are in good condition with most of the original paint intact with worn high spots. The knife functions well with the blade tip deep & centered closed, strong snap and excellent lockup with less than 1/16" movement at the tip. No rattle if shaken with blade open! VG+ condition.
