Presto MADE IN USA Vintage Paratrooper style Hunter Metal switchblade w lanyard

Vintage Presto hunter switchblade with painted black metal handles made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1929 and 1955. It's the largest model that they offered measuring 5 inches closed and 8 5/8 inches open with steel liners, button & safety. The blade is 94% full or better with lots of light scratches from sharpening/use and the tang is stamped PRESTO MADE IN USA and the backside is marked GEO SCHRADE BRIDGEPORT CONN. The painted metal scales are in good condition with some of the original paint intact. The knife functions well with the blade tip deep in the well closed, good snap and very loose lockup with about 1/2" up and down at the tip and some side to side. Knife does rattle if shaken with blade open, as most of these 70+ year old used switchblades do.  VG- condition.
