PRESTO MADE IN USA Vintage Hunter All Metal switchblade knife

PRESTO MADE IN USA Vintage Hunter switchblade knife with painted black metal handles made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1929 and 1955. This is the largest model that they offered measuring 5 inches closed and 8 5/8 inches open with steel liners, button & safety. The blade is 97% full or better and shiny with light scratches from sharpening/use and the tang is stamped PRESTO MADE IN USA and the backside is marked GEO SCHRADE BRIDGEPORT CONN. The painted metal scales are in good condition with much of the original paint intact and worn off the high spots. The knife functions well with the blade tip centered and below the liners closed, good snap and fair lockup with about 1/8" up and down movement at the tip. Does rattle if shaken with blade open. VG condition.
