z PRESTO M2 WWII paratrooper black switchblade knife

Vintage PRESTO M2 WWII Black Worm groove handles vintage switchblade knife. This knife was made by the George Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1940 and 1956. It measures 4 1/8" closed and 7 1/8" open with steel liners, bolsters and lanyard ring, but nickel silver button and safety. The clip blade is 100% full with original factory finish intact and is stamped PRESTO PAT JAN 30-40 MADE IN USA front and GEO SCHRADE KNIFE CO INC BPT CONN rear. The scales are in nice condition with no cracks or shrinkage and has bail (staple) to attach a cord. The knife works well with blade tip deep and centered, strong snap and good lockup. Safety works. Nearly new condition.
