Presto Letter Opener Blue Silver Vintage office tool switchblade

Presto vintage letter opener switchblade office tool. Made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1929 and 1940 and measures 8 3/4" closed and just under 11 inches open with brass liners. The blade is mostly full with much of the original finish visible under a light layer of patina with some spotting and scratches. Stamped PRESTO PAT PEND-G on the front and back tang is blank. The Blue/Silver celluloid scales have some cracks and flaws, but still very attractive. Works well with blade tip seating deep, good snap and good lockup with very little movement. Safety works.
