Presto Scout small stamp jigged bone switchblade

Early Presto switchblade with small stamp and jigged bone handles. This has the smaller tang stamp which indicates it's an early knife, most likely made between 1929 and 1935. This is the smaller of the two large single blade Presto switchblades measuring 4 1/8 inches closed. They referred to this model as the "Scout". The larger is the "Hunter". This knife has some blade loss from use/sharpening. The blade is approx 90% full and shiny with some pitting. It has been lightly cleaned. The knife measures 6 7/8 inches open and it has steel liners. The jigged bone scales are in excellent condition. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep when closed, good snap and average lockup with 3/16" up and down at the tip. Sliding safety works.
